Privacy Policy

Updated Sep 16, 2026

This page explains what this site actually does with visitor data. It only covers what's really running here — nothing more.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics across the entire site to understand which pages get read and how visitors find them. This collects standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (referrer). It does not include your name or anything else that identifies you personally.

Google's own privacy policy covers what they do with this data on their end: policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by adjusting your browser's cookie or tracking settings, or by installing Google's own opt-out browser add-on.

Third-party advertising

One page on this site — the BLACKWOOD Crash on Startup fix guide — currently carries a test advertising slot served through a third-party ad network. No other page on the site runs ads at this time.

Ads served through that network may set their own cookies or use similar tracking technology to show you relevant ads. We don't control what data the ad network or its advertisers collect, and this policy can't speak for their practices — check the ad network's own privacy policy if you want details on that.

What we don't do

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, and no forms that collect personal information. Outside of Google Analytics and the single ad slot described above, we don't run any other tracking or data collection.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's served changes — for example, if ads roll out to more pages — this page will be updated to reflect that.
